Ice Cream Truck Driver Job Description

• Driving: Operating the ice cream truck along a predetermined route.
• Selling: Selling ice cream to the public and attending special events.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining inventory and ensuring the proper functioning of the refrigeration system.
• Sanitation: Upholding sanitation standards in the mobile unit.
• Cash Handling: Handling cash transactions accurately.
• Promotional Activities: Playing music or using a speaker system to advertise the presence in a particular area.
  These drivers are mobile retail food professionals who typically work during the warmer months, when demand for ice cream is high. They drive designated routes around towns, neighborhoods, parks, and beaches, or attend special events like fairs and festivals to sell a variety of pre-packaged or soft-serve ice creams.
