Ice Cream Truck Driver

Ice Cream Truck Driver (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We're looking for an energetic, dependable person to operate one of our ice cream trucks. This is a fun, customer-focused position that's perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with families, and is motivated to maximize their earnings.

If you don't enjoy working with the public or interacting with children, this position may not be the right fit. However, if you're self-motivated, outgoing, and commission-driven, you'll have the opportunity to earn excellent income based on your performance.

At minimum commission goals, you can earn up to $735 per week, with the potential to earn even more depending on your work ethic, customer service, and sales performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Safely operate an ice cream truck along assigned routes.
  • Sell ice cream products to customers in neighborhoods, parks, and at special events.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while creating a fun and friendly experience.
  • Accurately handle cash and other payment transactions.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and perform weekly inventory counts.
  • Ensure the truck, freezer, and refrigeration equipment remain clean and in good working order.
  • Maintain high sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Use the truck's music and other promotional methods to attract customers.
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable, honest, and dependable.
  • Ability to lift and carry ice cream products as needed.
